• ANNOUNCEMENTS DEADLINE is 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday. Please email announcements to Lisa at graceluthch@earthlink.net.

• MUSIC LESSONS EXPRESS will be holding its annual Honors Recital at Grace Lutheran Church today at 5:00 p.m. This free recital will feature advanced students and is an opportunity for them to showcase their hard work and progress. All are invited. Reception to follow.

• THE MEN’S GROUP MEETS every third Monday from 11:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. The next meeting is October 19.

​

• WE ARE TAKING DONATIONS for the Watchmen Legacy Project, which supports local Veterans in our community. There are info sheets on the table in the lobby about what items are most needed. Jacob Baugh, who is part of our 11am service, will be delivering the donations to the project, and they’ll be distributed as part of the Veterans Day events. There’s a table in the Fellowship Hall marked for your donations. Thank you for your support of our local Vets.

• TEXTALK – is our weekly gathering to discuss the lessons from the previous Sunday. Join us in person or via Zoom, Tuesdays from 12:00 – 1:30 p.m. The link is sent out on Tuesday morning.​​​

• THE NEXT NOISY BUCKET SUNDAY is October 25, Reformation Sunday. Please remember to bring your loose coins to put in the bucket. All donations will go to the church's Families in Need Fund

​

• ALL SAINTS SUNDAY will be on November 1. You are invited to provide names of anyone you would like to remember who has died in the last year (since November 2025). These names will be read aloud and printed in the bulletin that Sunday. You may email the names to the church office or place it in the basket in the lobby (not in offering plate – it may be missed). Be sure to include your name and contact information, in case we have questions. Please submit names by Friday, October 23, 2026.

• FIRST FRIDAY CLEANUP DAY is November 6. Everyone is invited to participate in this fun time of fellowship! We will meet from 8:30 – 10:00 a.m. to tackle small projects to spruce up the church grounds. Bug spray, long pants and work gloves recommended. Suggestions or concerns about spaces you’d like to see cleaned up, please share with Randi Buehner at randibuehner59@gmail.com.

• QUILTERS MEET every third Thursday of the month in the Fellowship Hall from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. Next quilting date is Thursday, November 19. We welcome new members who want to assemble the quilts. Previous sewing experience is not required. Quilts are donated to Sleep in Heavenly Peace, to top the beds they make for local children.

• MANNA ON MERIDIAN DISTRIBUTION DAY is Saturday, November 21. Volunteers are welcome! If questions, contact Penny Rusinko, 507-213-7246 or gprusinko@gmail.com. Thank you for your generous donations of tuna. Manna also currently needs canned corn, green beans and black beans; 11oz – 15oz boxes of cereal; and new or used brown paper grocery bags. Place these in the bin next to the tuna bucket in the Fellowship Hall.​​​​

• SAVE THE DATE! HOLIDAY DECORATING AT GRACE will take place on Saturday morning, December 5, from 10:00 a.m. until noon. Many hands make light, easy work, so join in this fun family activity.

 

• PHOTOS FOR WEBSITE.  Our church website is in the process of being updated. We are asking for church members to forward any personal digital photos that were taken during church events, activities or organized outings, for inclusion on the site. Please send submissions and/or questions to Kelly Wenum at navyvet@tuta.com.​
