SUNDAY SCHOOL AND EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES

Sunday School classes for children, youth and adults are offered during the school year at 9:30 AM.  Our Middle School aged youth participate in Catechism Class which leads to Confirmation.  Classes are also taught leading toward a child's First Communion.  A new Adult Class, taught by Sandra Schorr, began in January.  The class will study the life of Joseph. All are welcome to get involved in Sunday school-even if you cannot attend every week.

Other Bible Studies and Faith Discussions are held at different times during the week.  "Luther's Table" is held on the third Sunday of each month from 1-2: 30 pm and "TexTalk," a discussion of the previous Sunday's lessons, is held every Tuesday from 1pm-2: 30 pm.

All classes and studies are open to members, visitors, and guests. Please contact the church for more information.

TWO NEW ADULT STUDY GROUPS begin Sunday, January 7th during the Sunday school hour between services. The first study group is led by Jim Akin and focuses on the book LEAD LIKE JESUS by Ken Blanchard, Phil Hodges, and Phyllis Hendry. The second study group is facilitated by Jeanette Sickel and will focus on the book HOW TO READ THE BIBLE by Harvey Cox. If questions, see Jim Akin, Jeanette Sickel, Linda Wolters or Sandra Schorr.
