The Men’s Ministry Group is accepting donations toward housing assistance on behalf of one of our members who has been homeless and recovering from alcoholism. Donations will help our member live in the Tallahassee Oxford House that is located at 4544 Thomasville Road. The Oxford House is a transitional house of eight (08) men who live in a supportive environment to help recover from addictions. Historically, over 80% of those who live in an Oxford House stay clean and sober.

Our member needs approximately $500 per month to reside in the Oxford House. He is required to adhere to house rules that include attending at least five (05) AA meetings each week and helping with household chores. Our member moved into the Oxford House on March 18th with funding from our Men’s Ministry Group. We currently have funds to provide housing for our member until August 1st.

If you would like to help by making a donation, please make checks payable to Grace Lutheran Church and include “Men’s Ministry Housing Assistance” on the memo line of your check/envelope.
